18th Annual Fair Housing Community Conference Held on April 23
Hosted by the City of Raleigh's Fair Housing Hearing Board and the Fair Housing Project of Legal Aid of North Carolina, the 18th Annual Fair Housing Conference will be held virtually on April 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This regional event is a collaboration and partnership with residents, thought leaders, experts on civil and human rights, housing, lending, education, transportation, health, environmental justice, and community development to examine achievements and opportunities under the Fair Housing Act.
Current fair housing trends and topics will be presented and discussed, including renting with a criminal history and emerging issues in disability rights law. Lisa Rice, President and CEO of the National Fair Housing Alliance, will deliver the keynote address.
